Monday
12:30 pm - Bun Grad (Beginner) 5-7 year old class
1:15 pm - Ard Grad (Preliminary Championship)
2:00 pm - Bun Grad (Beginner)
2:45 pm - Bun Grad (Advance Beginner)
Evening - Performance Troupe practice
Tuesday
10:00 am - Bun Grad (Beginner) 5-7 year old class
Private Classes
4:30 pm - Bun Grad (Beginner) 5-7 year old class
Wednesday
4:30 pm - Bun Grad (Beginner)
5:00 pm - Ard Grad (Preliminary Championship)
6:00 pm - Mean Grad (Prizewinner)
Registration Fee
There is a registration fee of $24.00 per student.
Monthly Tuition Fee
Class Fees (due on the 1st day of class each month)
45 minute class:
$30.00 a month per dancer
$55.00 a month for 2 dancers per household
$75.00 a month for 3 dancers per household
All extra classes are $5.00 per class per dancer
COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION is $10.00 extra per month per dancer
Levels of Irish Step Dancing
The following Levels will be offered in Irish Dance:
Level One, Bun Grad (Beginner)
**Basic forward, backward, and sideways movements
**Compulsory material as sanctioned by CRN
**Solo reels, slip jigs, single jigs and light jigs
**Traditional Ceili dances
Level Two, Ullmhuchan (Novice)
**Compulsory material as sanctioned by CRN with hard and light shoe material
**Solo reel, slip jig, single jig, treble jig and hornpipe
**Traditional Ceili dances, traditional set dances performed with hard shoes
Level Three, Mean Grad (Prizewinner)
**Compulsory material as sanctioned by CRN with hard and light shoe material
**Solo reel, slip jig, single jig, double jig and hornpipe
**Traditional Ceili dances, traditional set dances performed with hard shoes
Level Four, Ard Grad (Preliminary Championship)
**Compulsory material as sanctioned by CRN and the instructor with hard and light shoe material
**Solo reel, slip jig, single jig, double jig and hornpipe
**Traditional set dances performed with hard shoes
Level Five, Craobh Grad (Open Championship)
**Solo reel, slip jig, single jig, double jig and hornpipe
**Non-Traditional set dances performed with hard shoes
Competition Opportunities For those who would like to compete, competition is available, but not mandatory to participate in classes. Extra practices will be Mandatory to compete.
